March MyGlam Bag Review!!

My Glam Bag has arrived!! Yay 🙂 I was really excited for this month, particularly beacuse last month’s was such a let down for me, but this month has redeemed it for me! I love this month’s MyGlam bag. Although it is mostly skin/hair care, the other items make up for it! I really like the blending brush they sent us, it pink, fluffy, soft, and a pretty good size brush. The case is cute, but I don’t know if I’ll ever use it! The Pur-lisse lip conditioner is amazing. I have such chapped lips all the time, and this product for me is gold. It’s a generous size at .5oz, and feel amazing on my lips. I have yet to try the Keracolor leave in hair treatment, but I will give it a go the next time I need to treat me hair! Also, just a note on the $25 gift certificate, it’s actually a coupon code for  $25 off a $50 order on Dermstore.com which I will very likely use. Overall, very satisfied with this month’s Glam Bag, excited for what’s next to come!

Mini Drugstore Haul! :)

L to R: Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Crayon in Black, Sally Hansen Vitamin E Cuticle Oil, Maybelline Pearl Lipstick in Coral Gleam, Hard Candy Felt Tip Liner in Oh Fudge, Wet N’ Wild Wild Shine Nail Polish in 435G, and Salon Perfect Natural False Lashes in 110 Black

Yaaay! Another drugstore haul, I really can’t help myself. Every time I go to the grocery store, I need to quickly browse the makeup aisles to see if anything catches my eye, and of course, things always do. This is what I took home!

The Maybelline Pearl Lipstick in Coral Gleam was a surprise find. I was never recently a huge fan of Maybelline products, but slowly I’m discovering some good finds. The lipstick is a pearly pinky-coral color with small shimmers. This is a great spring color and a good deviation from my usual creme lipsticks. The formula is surprisingly hydrating, and feels smooth on my lips, I can’t feel the small shimmers at all! The color is gorgeous, and they smell I don’t mind (light vanilla scent), although I find that it does wear off rather quickly. The Hard Candy Felt Tip Liner in Oh Fudge was a great find. The color is a deep chocolatey brown with reddish undertones. The red doesn’t translate on the eye at all, and actually looks very natural yet defined. Hopefully it doesn’t dry out quickly! The Loreal Colorstay Eyeliner Crayon is retractable, very black, and glides on smoothly. This was actually a pretty affordable find! Both of these liners have great staying power! Highly recommended!

The Sally Hansen Vitamin E Cuticle Oil was another surprise find. The oil is not sticky, and doesn’t really have a smell. The oil created a soft emollient effect on my nails & cuticles and deep conditions the skin around my nails. This is a lifesaver if you have dry skin/cuticles, hang nails, or brittle nails. I love how they make my cuticles look!

Loreal Infalliable Eyeshadow Review!

I LOVE these eyeshadows! I first found out about these in Youtube and ran over to Target to give them a try. I love the colors I have, and really want to stock up on some other colors. The eyeshadows are creamy and smooth, and a little damp feeling, but glide on easily on the skin with great even pigmentation! The colors are all slightly shimmery, and claim to be long wearing. I’ve noticed that you can smudge them if you are not careful (i.e. rubbing your eye lol) but for the most part, stay on the lids for most of the day!

The eyeshadows come with a protective lid on each shadow that you can remove, and the texture of these shadows is VERY soft and pliable, if you are not careful you can lose a chunk! lol You only need a small amount on your finger or brush to apply evenly on the eye. I love the color payoff of these shadows, and have been claimed to be a dupe for the Armani Eyes to Kill Eyeshadows. Overall, highly recommended!

LUSH Twilight Review!

I ADORE this bath bomb, in fact, it’s the only LUSH product I repurchase all the time. The smell of it is intoxicating, reminds me of sweet lavender and other florals with a hint of musky warmth. The description on the LUSH website is below:

Recreate the magic of a starry night in your bath water with clouds of lavender, ylang ylang and ovaltine to fight the demons of insomnia and soothe your stressed out body and mind. Our most relaxing Bath Bomb yet, Twilight is our gentle, reassuring hug for the bath to transform you from worn out to warm and fuzzy. It changes colour like the sky at dusk, from pinks to purples and darker still. Lay back in the comforting herbal waters to soak your troubles far, far away.

The bath bomb itself is a pretty hefty size, about the size of a softball, and when you open the package, you can smell the fragrance immediately. There’s cute stars imprinted on the top of it, and when cracked open you can see a bright blue center. The bath bomb is fizzy and foams a bit in the water, and the colors swirl together to form a nice lavender color. There are tiny iridescent glitters in it, so when you’re taking a bath, you feel like you’re in the night sky! Your skin feels fresh, and slightly moisturized, and your body is lightly perfumed by the fragrance after the bath. I HIGHLY recommend this bath bomb, this is my FAVORITE next to the Sex Bomb. 🙂
