Etsy Shop Frecklefarm Organics Review!

Hi everyone! Another fun Etsy shop review for you today, a wonderful soap shop called Frecklefarm Organics! I was initailly really attracked to the packaging, and the imprinted logo on the soaps, so pretty! She is doing a special promo for you guys, use the code Blissno915off for 15% off your order! 🙂

I was sent two soaps, one is the Rise and Shine with Lemongrass soap, and the 15 Minutes of Fame with Lavender soap! “Our handcrafted natural bath and beauty products are made from certified organic ingredients that are in harmony with nature. Each ingredient is handpicked to enhance your beauty from within. Our products are 100% vegan and cruelty free, and our packaging is re-usable and biodegradable.”

This is the Rise and Shine soap bar, “Jump start your morning and set path for an amazing day with our ‘Rise and Shine’ soap. It has been enriched with organic lemongrass essential oil, organic calendula flowers, and natural vitamin-e oil to rejuvenate, soothe, heal, and moisturize your skin. This soap is simply addictive.”

The bars are really nice about 4oz. I absolutely LOVE the packaging, it is so cute and lovely! This makes it perfect for gifts and other things, it’s already ready to go!  I love the pretty pastel paper and the burlap textures. 😀

Here are the ingredients: Unconditional Love, Distilled Water, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Palm Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Organic Essential Oils Blend and Organic Calendula Flowers

Here is the bar without the packaging, it smells so good! I LOVE lemongrass, it’s very fresh and citrusy. I really like the logo imprint, and the little bits that I can see inside the soap. It looks a little different from the picture on her shop, but I guess that’s true for anything.

This is the 15 Minutes of Fame soap bar! It smells heavenly, the ingredients are: Unconditional Love, Distilled Water, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Palm Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Organic Essential Oils Blend and Organic Lavender Flowers.

“Take 15 minutes from your busy schedule to shower yourself in love with our ’15 Minutes of Fame’ soap. It is scented with organic lavender essential oil and infused with organic lavender flowers that serve as an aphrodisiac and provide gentle exfoliation for your skin.” I absolutely love this!! I love the texture of this soap, and that you can see all the lavender flowers in the bar, it would be great for exfoliation!

Overall, I really like her soaps, it’s going to be hard trying to use these because they are so pretty! 🙂

Etsy Shop Review Shamrock Soaps!

She was nice enough to send me some of her lovely soaps to try, these are the Lavender with Hops & Honey full soap bar, and the Wexford Strawberry soap bar. They are hefty bars, and clearly handmade. I love the amazing smells and textures of these soaps! The Lavender soap is lightly scented, nothing over powering and slightly sweet. The Wexford Strawberry soap is to DIE for!!! It smells so yummy!! Like a big bushel of sweet strawberries!! 😀

Here are the back of the labels, they each have a little story and description of the ingredients! I like that small personal touch! 🙂

This is about how big a full bar is, pretty big! It will probably last a long time, and a few of these in a box would be an awesome gift!! If you aren’t sure what to get, she offers a Soap Sampler, a great stocking stuffer idea, which has a few slivers of her soaps to try! The soaps are very moisturizing, and don’t leave a weird residue on the skin like some commercial bar soaps. It feels kind of between a glycerin and cream bar soap. It leaves your skin clean, and fresh smelling!

Here are the ingredients, I like that there are less than like 10 ingredients, some commercial brands I just don’t know what the heck I’m putting onto my skin!!

The last thing in my little package was the Vetyver Body Balm. It does come in different scents, but I was curious about this scent, plus it had a pink label! 🙂 It smells like a light musk, but there is a definitely scent of beeswax. I like that it’s in a push-up tube form, very hand indeed! Directions for solid lotion: Just push the tube up, and apply generously. . If you get some on your hands, just rub it in. It’s lotion! Done naturally. No preservatives. No fillers.

Here are the ingredients, again, all natural and easy to understand! I absolutely love coconut oil, it makes my skin so smooth and moisturized! This is the perfect little balm for him or her, to keep those dry bits on your body, soft and smooth during the winter months.

I really like this body balm/solid lotion. It really makes my skin very soft and moisturized. I like using this on my hands, feet, knees, elbows, and cuticles. I wish I had gotten the Wexford Strawberry scent and that would have smells delicious, but this one it great as well! I can share it with my husband without him smelling girly. 🙂

Recent Summer Skin + Nail Haulage!!

Hi everyone!!!! I’ve missed blogging so much!! I thought I’d do a quick post on some things that I’ve gotten over the past couple weeks! It’s been really hot where I am, (90-100 degrees!!!) and I’ve been doing my best to stay cool and use products that are going to do me justice! Although, I’ve been going to the drugstore and a few things have caught my eye!

This is the Loreal True Match Lumi Liquid Foundation with SPF 20. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on this foundation, and I was very curious about it! I’ve pretty much stuck with Revlon as my go-to drugstore brand, but Loreal as been producing some interesting things lately! I was very happy that this contained some SPF to protect me from the summer sun!

The color I got was W4 Warm Natural Beige, they do have another color options for neutral or fair skin. The packaging is a glass bottle pump with clear plastic lid. It’s pretty sturdy and I’m not one to carry around my foundations so it does just fine in my storage. I’ve been happy with some other products for their Lumi line, so I was happy to give this a go.

Here’s the product on my hand, it’s very liquidy and a little runny, but that makes it easily blendable. I didn’t see ANY glitter or shimmer which made me very happy!

This is the foundation spread out a bit, as you can see, it has decent coverage for this kind of foundation, but I would day this is a light to medium coverage formula. It smells light and nice, and the texture is very smooth and silky to the touch.

Here it is completely blended into my skin, it leaves an amazing soft focus glow, and a slight dewy/satin finish! Lovely!!! I feel that is nicely evens out my skin and makes my skin look perfected and luminous. Although, I wouldn’t recommend this to people with oily skin as it is dewy!! Setting this with powder should also help make it last. (Although this heat does not help!! >.<)

This is the Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing Spray, this I got online off Beauty.com, and I have been a fan of this little beauty for a while!! This is actually a smaller back up of one that I already own, it’s incredibly versatile and can be used at any time in the day. I use it as a makeup setting spray, refreshing mist, after shower mist, when I feel hot, when my skin feels dry, and to seal in my skincare at night. It feels very fresh on the skin and lightly moisturized. It really feels like water! It does have good for you things in it, LOVE it!!!

These are a couple new things that I picked up, the Sally Hasen Salon Base Coat and Top Coat. The bottles are so pretty!!! The top coat claims to keep my manicure lasting for up to 10 days so that made me really wanting to try it out!! Also, the base coat is something that I’ve been wanting to try, I rarely ever used base coat but I thought I should start since I’m painting my nails more and more!

Here the box of the Bast Coat, I was really attracted to the fact it had natural marine ingredients and Biotin which I know is a strengthener! It creates a nice jelly-like base for the nail polish to glide on top of, really makes the finished nails look smooth and glossy! The top coat is also a little gel-like takes a little bit to dry, but makes my nails looks really shiny and locks in the color! I will test it on one hand and see how long it will last! 🙂

Couple more nails things I got are these two OPI Nail Polishes, one is a powdery lavender grey color with tiny gold reflects, and the other is a bright summery pink! I almost stopped in my tracks when I saw these HAD to get them!!

The two colors are “Feelin’ Hot-Hot Hot!” and “I Don’t Give a Rotterdam” from the Holland Collection. Can’t wait to try these beauties out!!

Last but not least, is this Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub. I ran out of my usual exfoliating scrub and decided picked this up. It has tiny micro-exfoliators in it, but is gentle to the skin. It smells really nice and makes my skin feels clean and soft! It also kept my combo skin balanced and didn’t break me out. Great stuff!!

LUSH Twilight Review!

I ADORE this bath bomb, in fact, it’s the only LUSH product I repurchase all the time. The smell of it is intoxicating, reminds me of sweet lavender and other florals with a hint of musky warmth. The description on the LUSH website is below:

There’s cute stars imprinted on the top of it, and when cracked open you can see a bright blue center. The bath bomb is fizzy and foams a bit in the water, and the colors swirl together to form a nice lavender color. There are tiny iridescent glitters in it, so when you’re taking a bath, you feel like you’re in the night sky! Your skin feels fresh, and slightly moisturized, and your body is lightly perfumed by the fragrance after the bath. I HIGHLY recommend this bath bomb, this is my FAVORITE next to the Sex Bomb. 🙂
