Hi everyone! ❤ I wanted to share with you all my absolute favorite MAC Fluidline in Deliciously Rich. I’ve bought 2 of these, both from separate limited edition collections unknowingly, but happy to have them all the same. The shade is an amazing metallic deep brown-bronze, with gold shimmer. Now this is something that I would use as an eyeshaodw base instead of an eyeliner simply because it take a couple layers to make it opaque. This is very shimmery and glittery so it needs a steady application. With all the maintenance aside, the final result can be gorgeous! Amazing for a night out or to amp us a neutral smokey eye! Check it out in direct sunlight!

I was driving to work and spotted a Shopper’s Drug Mart which I had never been to so I decided to pop in, and I’m so glad I did! They carried all the name brands as well as Prestige! I absolutely love Prestige, and in my opinion one of the better drugstore brands. The True Metal eyeshadow is SO pigmented, it’s crazy. I highly recommend it, as well as the mascara and eyeliners. The Orange Color tattoo is really fun, a really bright matte formula. The Rimmel lipstick was on clearance so I decided to try it, it’s ok. It feels comfortable on the lips, but it settles in fine lines and dry patches. Here is a full list of what I got: Prestige Total Intensity Automatic Eyeliner in Espresso and Black, Prestige Total Intensity Beyond Lashes Mascara in Jet Black, Prestige Total Intensity Dual Pencil Sharpener, Prestige Total Intensity True Metal Eyeshadow in Copper, Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight, and the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fierce and Tangy.

My Favorite Felt Tip Drugstore Eyeliners

20140420_121209 copy copyI wear eyeliner pretty much everyday. I feel like a good brow and nice black eyeliner can make you look made up without wearing too much at all!  These three felt tip eyeliners are my absolute arsenal in creating a fast, easy cat eye. They are: the Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Liner, Loreal 12 Hr Infallible The Super Slim Liner, and the Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eye Liner. A quick tip is create the wing by pressing the felt tip at the angle you would like the flick by your eye, then stroke on your normal eyeliner and connect them together. And, that’s it!

March Glossybox 2013 USA

Hello everyone! My March Glossybox has finally arrived! I was super dissapointed by missing the January Man Repeller box, and the “eh” February box, so I was hoping that this one would make me excited. This month’s theme is Spring Fling, I am so ready for Spring!

The box is really nice, I’ve really always enjoyed keeping the Glossybox boxes to store things in my bathroom, or crafts. They’re really sturdy and pretty!

Here’s the inside, the typical pink ribbon and black tissue paper. There’s also a Spring Fling Card describing the theme a bit!

Here is a list of all the items in the box. At first glance I’m pretty happy with the contents, wish I had gotten the Pixi Lip Tint instead of the hairspray or soap, I had gotten a small Bvlgari soap in last month’s box,  but let’s see what’s inside!

Here is the box! Super excited about the ModelCo Cheek & Lip Stain which they had showed a sneek peek on their Facebook page a few weeks before, the rest of the items seemed pretty good as well. Not too excited about the soap bar sliver, but I’ll give it a chance.

First thing I saw, was this Sebastian Shaper Fierce Finishing Hair Spray. I’ve tried Sebastian hair products before, but never heard of this hairspray. I dont use hairspray too often, but was happy to see a Sebastian product. I will be giving this to a friend!

Next was this Koh Gen Do Oriental Plants Emollient Cream. “The Emollient Cream is protecting and nourishing the skin from dryness, it contains vitamin A (carrot extracts) that serves as an emollient and 36 botanical extracts that leave the skin feeling smooth and looking radiant.” The full size cost of this is $123 for 1oz!!

The cream itself is very creamy and rich, it smells clean, and would be great for dry skin or a night treatment. This little sample would cost around $30!! SO crazy!!!

Next is this Prestiche Essential Oil Bar Soap in Lemongrass. I LOVE the smell of Lemongrass so this soap has redeemed itself. It’s a slim sliver, but will be good to try. The ingredients are Olive Oil, Water, Coconut Oil), Palm Oil, Lye, Castor Seed Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Shea Butter, and Sesame Seed Oil and is cold pressed. Pretty natural! The full size bar is $17, this sample I would say is about 1/4 of the size.

Next was this $40 Gift Certificate to the Prestiche website! It can go toward any beauty product with no minimum minus the shipping cost which I think is around $12. Their products seem to be around $15-$60 so you can get a good choice of product or assortment which this coupon code!

Next is this Elite Models Paris Intensity Waterproof Eyeliner. This is a full size product worth $14. The color is black with tiny silver sparkles. Can’t wait to try this! I’m a huge eyeliner fan so I will definitely get some use out of this! Also happy that this is waterproof, it’s hard to find a eyeliner that actually stays on a long time!

Next was the product I was really looking forward to, the ModelCo Cheek+Lips Tint in Rosy Red, another full size product! This retails for $24, so this alone of worth more than what you paid for the entire Glossybox! So happy I got this!!

Here is the tube, really pretty, love the packaging. Can’t wait to use it!!! 🙂

Here is a swatch of the ModelCo Cheek+Lip Tint in Rosy Red, and the Elite Models Paris Waterpoof Eyeliner. Both products are EXTREMELY long wearing and do not budge!!!! Overall, really liked this box, really excited for next month!

What do you think!? 😀

My Current Face Favorites! ❤

Hello everyone! This post is a long time coming, but I wanted to do it now because I finally got a bunch of products that I really love using on my face! Over the seasons, items have changed, but these overall have been my go-to favorites for my everyday looks! These are my favorite foundations/BB Creams of the moment, the YSL Touch Eclat Illuminating Foundation, Skin79 The Oriental BB Cream and Shimmering BB Cream, Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation, and the Sephora Instant Radiance Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid. LOVE all of these, I prefer hydrating, light textured, dewy, medium coverage foundations for the skin. Makes me look healthy and natural!

This is the Clarins Poudre Multi-Eclat Mineral Loose Powder, which came out this year for Spring 2013, the packaging is so pretty, a bit bulky, but is so nice. The powder itself is micro fine, light textured, sheer, and so smooth. It give the skin a flawless slightly illuminated finish. It smells nice too!!

Next is the CoverFX MatteFX Powder, Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Corrector, Benefit Playstick, and ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer. I absolutely love these products, the Benefit Playstick is probably my all time favorite stick foundation/concealer. It’s so creamy and light, and the finish is amazing! The CoverFX MatteFX Powder I use everyday, it just set my makeup and keeps my makeup from sliding around during the day and gives a translucent effect. The Covergirl Corrector is a recent find but I’ve been suing it everyday, I LOVE the texture, my undereyes feel hydrated, and the coverage is good without being cakey. The ELF concealer I use on it’s own on days where I want to be natural. It has good coverage, feels nice and dewy, and is a great color match. Closest product that feels like a BB Cream without being one!

Next is the Sleek Blush by 3 in Lace, Mac Archie’s Girl Blush in Cream Soda, and Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Frivole. I absolutely love Sleek as a brand, too bad it’s only available in the UK! I’ve really been loving tangerine toned blushes applied with a light stippling brush, the color is co gorgeous with a light hand! The Mac blush in Cream Soda is a great everyday light peach blush, which just makes me skin look more alive. The Chanel blush was a splurge, but the quality of it and the color is SO gorgeous. highly recommend.

These are my go-to face powders and bronzers, the Revlon Photoready Bronzed and Chic Bronzer, Lancome Dual Finish Versatile Face Powder, and the Lola Pressed Powder in Wheat. All of these powders are matte, but not cakey. The texture is very light and smooth. Love the Revlon bronzer because of the different quadrants, and how pretty is the coral print? The Lancome Dual Finish Powder is just hands down one of the best face powders I’ve used, and the the Lola Pressed Powder I use as a natural contour, which I found for $1 on AllCosmeticsWholesale!

Next are mascaras, my newest fav is the Dior Diorshow Extase Mascara in Black, 17 Peep Show Mascara in Brown/Black, Loreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara, and the Nars Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara. All of these I really like. The Nars and Dior mascaras have to be at the top, the 17 Peepshow Mascara is great for everyday natural wear. The Loreal Mascara is a total DUPE for the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara. I love the formula for these, not too wet or dry, slightly creamy in a way, pigmented, stays on the lashes, and voluminous.

Lastly are my eyeliner and brow products! I have my Mememe Eye Spy Eyeliner Pencil that I use for my brows, the Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner Pen, Sleek Eau La Liner, Too Faced Perfect Eyes Eyeliner, my spooly wand, and the Loreal Extra Intense Liquid Eyeliner Pencil. The Maybelliner Master Precise Pen is amazing, it’s my go-to for any winged eyeliner look. It just makes my eyes look polished and defined. The Too Face eyeliner is so creamy and pigmented, amazing for lining the upper lash line and smudging out looks. The Sleek Eau La Liner is great all around, lasts, creamy, and is very pigmented. The Loreal Liner is pretty much a gel liner in a pencil form, SO creamy and very black. I use a angled brush to use this pencil!

Overall, I LOVE all these products, and I can see myself using them for the greater part of the year.

Absolutely LOVED the box this month, the blush had to be the highlight of this box! In my opinion, better than MAC. Super smooth, pigmented, and finely milled texture. Loved the color as well! I highly recommend this service if you are looking for something affordable ($15/month), great quality, and makeup focused.

What were your favorite drugstore beauty products of this year?? 🙂

MyGlam/Ipsy October 2012 Bag!

Hello everyone! I finally got my October MyGlam/Ipsy bag, as some of you might know MyGlam has changes their name to Ipsy, with the promise of more customization, and better prodcuts. I gave in and decided to give this month a try after canceling, and I’m kind of glad I did! The bag itself is SO cute!!!!!!! 🙂

This month’s theme was Bombshell, and you get products to create yourself into one! Here is the card you typically get with some info on the products and brands. Excited about these!! They seems like great products. I’ve heard of The Balm and Coastal Scents, but haven’t tried anything from the other two.

Here is what was inside, yay goodies!! I love surprises, have the reason why I love the subscription services. All these products look like a generous/full-size!! I absutely love the bag, I’m currently using it as my everyday makeup bag!

Here are all the contents!! WOW, I am so impressed with this. After being dissapointed many times with previous Glam Bags, this makes up for it completely, and I hope they keep it up!! 😀

The first thing I saw was The Balm, What’s Your Type? Black Mascara sample.  I’ve never tried any Balm mascaras, or anything besides their eyeshadows for that matter, so I was happy to see this. It’s a pretty good size, great for travel, and the formula was pretty decent! The wand itself was good for volumizing and slight separation, but it was out of plasic material, which hurt my eyes! (I like soft dense bristles!!) Overall, I do still like this and will use it up!

Next was a FULL-SIZE Be a Bombshell Felt-Tip Eye Marker/Liner in Onyx. Very little to say about this other than this was an amazing product. It goes on opaque, dries fairly quickly, and lasts a long time. You get great precision from the felt tip, and it great for a perfect winged eye look! So happy that was in here, it retails for $14, will DEFINITELY get use out of this!!

This is the Couture Colot Pequi Oil Treatment. It’s a pretty nice sample size, and it meant to make your hair softer and more manageable. I did a little research and I guess a Pequi is an Amazonian fruit, this is mae without parabens and sulfates, and is claimed to improve dull, damaged hair is up to 600% stronger after one application! This retails for $12, so it’s a great value! It smells lightly of soemthing tropical, maybe a bit coconutty, and it does make my hair feel super soft! It’s also incredibly lightweight and absorbs quickly, love it!

Next is this Coastal Scents sample eyeshadow quad in Set 7. It’s pretty small, but I guess they are the same size as the shadows in those 88 palettes, each pot about the size of a dime. I’m very familiar with Coastal Scents as they sell a variety of affordable makeup through their website. You can create custom palettes, or buy them individually. Personally I prefer BH Cosmetics as I think their eyeshadows are much better quality, but these are great if you are looking for a deal.

The names of the eyeshadows are on the back so you can reference them if you are interested in getting the full size pans. Ipsy offers a Beauty quiz when you sign up and they say they personaize your Glam Bags based on that, I wonder what other people got?? Not a real fan of these shades. :/

Last but not least is the full size Mirenesse Lip Bomb in 4. This is such a unique product, it’s a highly pigmented glossy laquer stain. The packaging is very neat, and I love the shape! This retails for $35!! Amazing! The texture and finish remind me of the OCC Lip Tars, but much glossier. I applied a little mount and got SO much color, you really need to be careful with this, it does stain the skin!

Swtches: Mirenesse Lip Bomb 4, Be a Bombshell Felt Eye Marker in Onyx, Coastal Scents Eyesahdows in Lemon Chiffon, Antique Lilac, Wisteria, and Raspberry Tart.

What do you guys think!? 😀
