October 2015 Boxycharm Sneak Peek!
Makeup Geek Duochrome Eyeshadows Haul & Swatches!
Hey girls! I quickly wanted to share my Makeup Geek Duochrome Eyeshadows $6! I picked up a few of the pans to try out, I was super intrigued after watching her video talking about her new launch! There are pigments for $12, which I might try out if I like these. The pans themselves look a little boring to be honest, but swatched they come alive! A couple of the colors I feel I’ve seen different brands come out with, but for the price this is a really great option. The pigmentation is good when swatched, and the duochrome is somewhat subdued on these. She did mention that the pigments were much more intense and obvious, but these would be good with a base, and for everyday wear. The colors: Voltage, Rockstar, Karma, Ritsy, Blacklight and Havoc.

This month I received a full-size Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Eyeshadow Palette, a Mica Beauty Black Gel Eyeliner, a Seta gel eyeliner brush (which is awesome), a So Susan highlighting stick, and a Nios Shield SPF and conditioning hair mist! I really liked everything in this months box, I serisouly recommend checking them out!
My favorite cream eye bases
Hey girls! I wanted to share my favorite cream bases that I have been loving for a while now, these are definitely my go tos and favorites of the bunch! I tend to stick with more neutral shades, but do like a darker vampy look from time to time for a smokey eye! I like to use them alone on easy days, or topped with my favorite eyeshadows for a long wearing more intense look. I really love how versatile these little pots are, and the colors are gorgeous! XMy lists: Smashbox Limitless 15 Hr Wear Cream Eyeshadows, MAC Paint Pots, Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliners, and Estee Lauder Stay On Eyeshadow Paints.
My Morphe Custom Single Eyeshadow Palette!
Hey girls! ❤ I wanted to share my awesome Morphe Single Eyeshadows! The thing about these little eyeshadows that I love, is that you are getting great quality and range for a very reasonable price. These little shadows are $2.29 each and do sometimes go on sale. There is a huge range to choose from, and the pigmentation and quality are great! I was inspired to make a somewhat fall palette, with a mix of warm/cool tones and neutrals and pops of color. These are all the shades I picked out, I also had an extra empty MAC palette laying out so I decided to fill it up! Shipping was fairly quick on both items and nicely packaged. I’m really happy by the way this turned out, I totally recommend checking out this brand!
My Current Beauty WISHLIST!
Hey girls! ❤ I wanted to quickly share some beauty things I have been eyeing. Some are skincare and perfumes, but nonetheless, I need these in my collection! The Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Perfume I have sampled before, and absolutely loved it. It is a deep, sensual floral/woodsy scent, and lingers on the skin. The primer looks gorgeous and the other items are just must trys in my opinion. Here are the goods: Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Shimmering Skin Perfector, YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer, Clinique Pop Lip Color + Primer, Viseart Eyeshadow Palette, Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil, Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Perfume, and the Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk. Have you guys tried any of these ?
Wellness Voxbox Review!
Hey guys! I wanted to share my Wellness Voxbox that I received in the mail, I got this pro bono to try out these products, but I believe these are all things that you can get at the drugstore! The first little thing I got was a UrgentRx Ache & Relief to Go fast powder in Lemon-Lime, it’s a quick fix that you take anytime you need some asprin. Next, I got a couple things from a new natural brand called Attitude, an all natural carcinogen-free dish liquid, and the Attitude 2-in-1 Shampoo/Body wash. It smelled pretty natural nothing fancy going on there. I also got a Colgate Health Enamel Health mouth wash which I will be getting use out of. I also got an active botanical gel cleanser from Olay which I am actually excited to try, and also a Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer which I think you apply just after you shower and before you dry off! I’ve never heard of this type of product, the lotion is very thin and smells great. Can’t wait to try all the goodies!
Revlon Powder Blushes Pinks & Corals
Hey girls! ❤ I wanted to share my new drugstore blush additions, they are the Revlon Powder Blushes in Melon-Drama, Classy Coral, Racey Rose. I was able to find these on sale at the drugstore, and I was a little hesitant to pick these up at full price. The colors looked amazing, and the packaging is nice and sleek which I like. I was happily surprised with these. They apply gorgeously on the skin, very natural looking, and I really love the shade range. I picked up all the pinky-peachy shades, and I’ve been really enjoying them when on the go. They are fairly cheap and come with a brush, which I don’t really use, but overall I’m really liking these little blushes! Totally recommend checking these out from the drugstore!
NYX Honey Dew me Up Serum & Primer Review
Hey girls! Hope everyone is doing awesome, I wanted to share the fairly new NYX Honey Dew Me Up Serum & Primer that I have been enjoying lately! It’s been super hot here, and I’ve been craving a lighter, more hydrated face for everyday. I was in passing through a makeup isle and came across this little beauty from NYX! I was immediately intrigued due to the packaging, I love anything gold!! The price tag was a bit steep for NYX at $16, but I had to try it none the less. I have anything with honey in it for the skin, it really helps to moisturize my skin and keep it looking radiant. It has a light serumy texture with tiny little gold flecks! It’s really hydrating on the skin without feeling heavy or sticky, it almost has a watery-gel texture. It’s really nice under makeup, and does help makeup apply more evenly. As far as longevity, it keeps my makeup looking fresh and my skin feeling awesome. Highly recommend!
My Week in Instagram
Current Favorite Book
Hey girls! I wanted to quickly share with you this awesome comic book called Cat Person that I came across that I am literally obsessed with. The artist is Seo Kim, and it’s a book with all her little drawings from her life, her funny moments with her cat, the internet, boyfriend, and herself. The style is super cute and being a cat person myself, I am absolutely obsessed! I love the drawing style she has, and she also has a Tumblr with some of her other drawings on it! If you love cute, quirky things, I would definitely check out this book! ❤
Fall Essie Nail Hail!
Hi gals! I was recently at the drugstore and was inspired to pick up some new nail polishes. I found these from Essie: Meet the Parents (pale powdery blue), Dress to Kilt (red), and Skirting the Issue (deep burgundy). I thought these colors were perfect for fall and the transitioning summer weather, I’ve been absolutely loving the Meet the Parents shade! I really love Essie polishes, I was able to get these for only $4 each which was a real bargain! What shes are you guys loving currently? ❤
Maybelline The Brights Eyeshadow Palette
Hey gals! I wanted to a quick more in depth review on the Maybelline The Brights palette! I picked this up at Target a couple weeks ago in the new-in stand, and for some reason I was really drawn to this! I normally don’t wear a lot of brights, nor do I have tons of bright colors in my collection, so I decided to give this a try. There are a few neutrals in there that you could use, the dark shimmery brown and matte black are actually pretty nice. The white, deep purple, lime green and gold shade left a bit to be desired. Although they are still workable and buildable, there are definitely better bright colored palettes out there. I think Wet N’ Wild has some brighter palettes that they come out every ones in a while! Overall, I still do like this, and when I want to incorporate some color I will be reaching for this! ❤
