Hi gals! I was recently at the drugstore and was inspired to pick up some new nail polishes. I found these from Essie: Meet the Parents (pale powdery blue), Dress to Kilt (red), and Skirting the Issue (deep burgundy). I thought these colors were perfect for fall and the transitioning summer weather, I’ve been absolutely loving the Meet the Parents shade! I really love Essie polishes, I was able to get these for only $4 each which was a real bargain! What shes are you guys loving currently? ❤

Covergirl XL Nail Gel Nail Polish in Rotund Raspberry
Hello gals! ❤ I wanted to share a new nail polish I discovered in the beauty isle, it is the Covergirl XL Gel Nail Polish in Rotund Raspberry. It was only a few bucks, and what stood out to be immediately was the bottle. It’s huge! The next thin I noticed that it was a gel formula. It doesn’t require a UV lamp or curing, but it’s supposed to have the long lasting and chip free formula that gel polishes have! The color is gorgeous, perfect for fall. The formula is super thick but super opaque. You’ll only need one coat of this to get great coverage and shine. I would still apply and base and top coat jsut in case, but this is supposed to last for 7 days which is amazing! It did take a little bit longer to dry, but the finished product was amazing! Highly recommend!

Hi everyone! ❤ I wanted to share my top Essie Nail Picks for this summer! I really like Essie Nail Polishes, they are super cute, and have tons of colors. They are always releasing new collections for each season and I absolutely love the names. All of these were released this year except for the glitter shade which came out last Christmas. I found that it was perfect for an accent nail. 🙂 Anyway, here are the colors!: Parka Perfect, Naughty Nautical, Resort Fling, and Hors D’eauves.

Nars Loves Los Angeles Set
Hello everyone! ❤ I wanted to do a quick review of the Nars Loves Los Angeles Set that came out last holiday season. I found this on Ebay for $32 (retail $75) and I was immediately drawn to the palette. I loved that you get 4 eyeshadows, a bronzer (Laguna) and blush (Deep Throat), and a couple extra goodies! I saw a little scared to use the blue shade, but it is actually very pretty blended out or used as an accent color on the eye. The lip gloss is Nars Turkish Delight which I was also really excited to try. I really like the quality of this set, the only shades I was concerned with was the light glittery shade and the blue shade. There was some crumbling with the glittery shade, but that was expected since it had so much glitter in it, it was best used with the flat brush patted over your eye, and the blue wasn’t as richly pigmented based on the swatch. However, this make it much more wearable and easily layerable over other shades. It also worked was as a liner! Great little set!
UK Beauty Lust List
Hi everyone! The UK has been one of those place I’ve been dying to visit, just because they have such a great selection of drugstore beauty brands. I really do think that their drugstore or “high street” products are much better than what the US has to offer, even though they do carry some of our brands. Forever 21 Nail Polish Haul
Hi everyone! Forever21 was having a 30% off sale and I spotted some nail polishes that were Buy 1 Get 1 Free! They are already pretty affordable $2.80 each, so I decided to pick up a few. I was really drawn to the creamy pastels and the speckled polishes. I got 4 cream shades and 2 speckled shades, the formula of these I actually like. They take about 2 coats to be opaque, but they are really awesome for the price. Have you tried these?

For any nail polish look I’m doing, these are the staples that I always use for my base and top coats. My cuticles to get dry so I always condition the skin around my nails before or after I apply polish. The Julep Oxygen nail Treatment is a great translucent base that conditions and protects your nails, and my all time favorite top coats are the Julep Polymer Top Coat and the Pro-FX High Gloss Top Coat. They keep my nails shiny and prolong my mani. Julep Maven May 2014 Classic With a Twist Box
I got my May Julep Nail Polish Box this month! I chose Classic With a Twist, Maddy (Raspberry sorbet shimmer) Ramona (Muted lavender rose crème), and Evelyn (Magenta purple crème). Another cool thing that was included was the Plie Wand, an ergonomically designed to bring more control, accuracy, and fun to every polishing experience. Came with a Plié overcap & precision brush. Really pretty spring colors, can’t wait to try out the plie wand!
My Glossybox April 2014 USA
I finally got my Glossybox! I’ve been subscribed to Glossybox for a while now, and I am usually very happy with the service. This month I am not over the moon with all the products, but there were a couple items that peaked my interest like the LA Splash Eye Primer and the Ciate nail polish (full size!).
