Waahhh I love makeup swapping! This is my second makeup swap and from Love212 from the UK! Yay! I’ve never experienced any makeup products from there, and am SO excited to try them after hearing all the good things around! We exchanged a few e-mails and decided to do a quick swap. Here is what I got from the UK! 🙂
So neat!! We don’t have a monarchy here in the U.S. so it’s a little fun to see the “Royal Mail” sticker on the postage! lol
The box is gorgeous, it’s a Joliebox, I think it’s a beauty subscription service in the UK, same as Birchbox or MyGlam. There’s looks so much better though!!
Inside was a cute note from her, so nice!! There was a small bag with the Joliebox logo on it,so I’m guessing this came with her Joliebox! I’m so going to keep them around as I always need things to put stuff in!

Here is everything I got in the swap, I am so happy with all the products!! So happy nothing was broken or damaged. The Sleek palette I am especially excited about since I’ve heard so many great things about it, but just never had the chance to try it! The nail polishes and TopShop items look gorgeous, and of course that famous Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer!!!! The pink 17 Mascara look so cute, love the packaging can’t wait to try it!
This is the Sleek Storm Palette, which is a mineral based eyeshadow palette, so excited about this! It’s a sleek black eyeshadow palette with a subtle Sleek logo on the front, it comes with 12 eyeshadow shades, and the company is originally from the UK.
The colors in this palette are gorgeous, and the texture of the eyeshadows are silky smooth with lots of pigmentation. This is something you can use during the day, then smoke it up a bit during the night with these fun darker colors. It has a mix of shimmer and matte, but mostly shimmer, which I like!!It also comes with a long applicator which is nice to have around. Overall, LOVE this palette, can’t wait to use it!

This is the GOSH nail polish in Peachy and Topshop Nail Polish in Rainy Day. Love both colors, can’t wait to try them!!
This is the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer, I’ve been wanting to try this for the longest time, but never been able to find it in the states!! It’s a light/med matte bronzer that smells like chocolate!! LOVE this! I wish products here were a bit more fun like this, can’t wait to use this as a contour, and just smell it all day! Thank you Elena!
This is the MUA Blush in shade 2 and Rimmel Glam Eyes Palette in Black Cab. I’ve seen these Rimmel palettes around but never had the chance to try them, and I’ve a lot of things about MUA that I wanted to try!! MUA is an affordable makeup line based in the UK and they have all sorts of beauty items. They are notorious for being very pigmented and very affordable. I really want to check out their website and try some of their eyeshadows and palettes! The Blush is gorgeous, applied with a brush it really does go on very pigmented, you only need a light swipe. It a pretty pink color, perfect for me everyday looks. The Glam Eyes palette comes with 4 B/W colors, perfect for a smokey eye, or days where I want to wear a powder liner. Love it!
This is the Barry M Dazzle Dust in 3, I’ve heard a lot about BarryM as well, so happy to have this in the swap! it a pretty pink shimmery and iridescent pigment, it looks so gorgeous on the skin. You definitely need a base for this, but otherwise it is so very cute!
Yaay! Topshop! This is a Topshop Twist Up Eye Crayon in a light milky white color, I can use this under the BarryM dazzle dust to make it stick! Perfect! By itself, it’s very easy to glide on, and has a lot of pigment. It’s also easily blendable, I really like this!
This is the Rimmel Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Liner in Black Glamour. I love eyeliner, especially liquid liners as they give me that nice black opaque line. This one has a very fine pointed synthetic brush, it bends with ease as you can really follow the shape of your eye. The formula is very wet, so you have to be careful before it dries or else it’ll get all over your eye! Overall, I really like this, gives a great finish!
This is the 17 Peep Show Mascara in Brown/Black, it is SO gorgeous! I absolutely love the packaging, it’s so frilly and girly. I’ve never heard of 17, but their products seem to be very good. This mascara has a fibrous wand with a neat shape. It tapers in the center so you’re getting more lash on the ends on the wand! It has a great formula, and makes my lashes look great. I really like this, will happily add it to my mascara arsenal!!
This is the MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss in Buff, it’s a great everyday nude color, and come in the thin/long tube. The gloss isn’t sticky, and the color looks good on my lips. There is a slight tingling/burning sensation when applied, probably since it is a plumping gloss!! Haven’t seen any improvement to my lips, but the color and finish look good! 🙂
