Wellness Voxbox Review!

Hey guys! I wanted to share my Wellness Voxbox that I received in the mail, I got this pro bono to try out these products, but I believe these are all things that you can get at the drugstore! The first little thing I got was a UrgentRx Ache & Relief to Go fast powder in Lemon-Lime, it’s a quick fix that you take anytime you need some asprin. Next, I got a couple things from a new natural brand called Attitude, an all natural carcinogen-free dish liquid, and the Attitude 2-in-1 Shampoo/Body wash. It smelled pretty natural nothing fancy going on there. I also got a Colgate Health Enamel Health mouth wash which I will be getting use out of. I also got an active botanical gel cleanser from Olay which I am actually excited to try, and also a Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer which I think you apply just after you shower and before you dry off! I’ve never heard of this type of product, the lotion is very thin and smells great. Can’t wait to try all the goodies!

July Petit Vour Beauty Box 2014

Hi everyone. I’m finally getting my July beauty boxes in the mail! This one is my Petit Vour box, they specialize in cruelty free products which I totally love. I’m pretty happy with what I got in box, I wish there was another product in there because I usally get 5 or another deluxe sample, but that’s ok. I really like the LVX nail polished $16, and excited to try the lavender an sage deodorant. What I got in my box: LVX 5 Free Nail Polish, Modern Minerals Mineral Eyeshadow, Pelle Beauty Face Oil, Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant.

My Top Nude MAC Lipsticks!

OH, pinky-nudes, how I love you. ❤ The MAC lipstick formula has to be one of my favorites, especially the Cremesheen and Lustre formulas. They smell amazing, like vanilla, and go on smooth and pigmented. A couple of these are in the permanent collection, but a lot of them were from limited edition collections. Here is a list of my all time favorite MAC lipsticks!: MAC Flair for Finery, MAC Feed the Senses, MAC Modesty, MAC Close Contact, and MAC Creme Cup.

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Eyeshadow Palette Review!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a palette I have been loving recently, the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Soft & Sexy Eyeshadow Palette $36. It is the perfect daytime smokey eye palette in my opinion, if you are into that, I am! 😉 The colors are so pretty and the perfect combination for that perfect taupey-smokey- cool toned look. I absolutely love the names of these shadows and the cute packaging. The eyeshadows themselves are very nice as well.

Beauty Crush: Cara Delevigne

So we’re all familiar with Cara Delevigne at this point, she’s the kooky Burberry model, now dating Michelle Rodriguez, who turn down Leonardo Dicaprio, and dated Harry Styles for a bit. She is currently my style and beauty crush! I love the modern, yet natural smokey looks she is sporting here, but also her beachy hair and dewy, bronzed satin skin! And of course, her oh, so famous full brows. I prefer mine a bit more tame, but love her look!

Marc Jacobs The Starlet Eyeshadow Palette

Hi everyone! I have really been coveting the Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Eye-Con No.7 – Plush Shadow Eyeshadow Palette in The Starlet $59. These are really sleek and luxurious, very high quality, pigmented eyeshadows. I chose The Starlet palette because I felt like these shades were ones that I would wear more often. They are all shimmery shades, so you will have to grab a couple mattes from your collection to create a full look with this, but I don’t mind that at all since I do that with every palette anyway. These are definitely luxe, but well worth it! Have you seen these at Sephora?

Mac Eyeshadow in Mulch

Oh, this eyeshadow. If you need one Mac eyeshadow in your collection, it’s this one. This is Mac Velvet Eyeshadow in Mulch, it’s the perfect shimmery bronze shade. This is great as a one wash color on the lids or layered with other matte shadows. It has a hint of gold and warm reddish undertones, but really is the best shimmery brown/bronze shade that suits everyone.

NYX butter lipstick review & swatches!

Introducing the NYX Butter Lipsticks! Been loving these little guys! Super affordable, they are $5.99, and are extremely comfortable and easy to wear. I have the shades Sugar Wafer (pale nude), Fun Size (pale pink nude), and Snow Cap (neutral nude). I like that the packaging reflects the actual shade of the lipstick, makes them easy to grab! The formula is very creamy and the pigmentation can be worn sheer or built up. My favorite has to be Snow Cap, the perfect my lips but better shade! Have you tried these?

NEW at the Drugstore! Wet N’ Wild Mini Haul & Review!

Woo hoo! I was at the drugstore and saw these little beauties, most of the other lip items had been picked through but I managed to snag one! I’ve really enjoyed things from Wet N’ Wild, so I decided to give these a go. 🙂

This is the new Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in ‘The Naked Truth’ for $3.99. I really liked this because it seemed like a great everyday palette, and the shades are right up my alley. These are smaller than the original 8 color palettes that they already have, but these are nice, and more portable for your makeup bag. There was also a $1.00 off coupon on this so already a great deal for the price!

Here are the swatches! Overall, I really like this palette, the only shades that was a little hit and miss were the browbone and crease shade, due to the shimmer that was in them. On the lids however, they look lovely, and are great for layering over other matte shades.

This is the Wet N’ Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain in Rico Mauve $2.69. I REALLY like this. These also came with a $1.00 of sticker, so this was dirt cheap. This type of lip product seems to be all the rage these days so I was happy to see that they came out with something similar for a great price.

The shade looked like a very natural color that I would wear on a daily basis so I was happy to give it a go!

Here is the swatch, very pretty natural pink-mauve shade! They are very moisturizing, slightly glossy, and have NO scent! Hallelujah! I hate the ones that smell like mint. Blech.

Etsy Shop RoseMarie Shadows Review!

Hi everyone! Quick review for you today, I got this little sample baggie in the mail recently and it has a bunch of little eyeshadow samples in it from RoseMarie Shadows from Etsy! 🙂 Her products are fragrance free, no preservatives, synthetic dyes or parabens! They are also oil free, hypoallergenic, and not tested on animals, sounds good to me!

It was a cute little sampler bag with a 7 little sample pots in them, and one maybe full size eyeshadow? Her Etsy shop pretty much has every color you can think of, mostly shimmer! “All of our eyeshadows are handmade and contain only the best ingredients. If we won’t wear it ourselves we won’t sell it to someone else. Our colors can be worn dry or wet which can give you a lighter more daytime look or a dramatic nighttime look.”

Here are the ones I received, they all look very pretty, each little sample pot still has a decent amount to try and test out! Her full size shadows retails for $3 each for a 5 gram jar, which is very reasonable!! They are all shimmery mica based mineral eyeshadows, so they do perform better with some sort of base or water.

This is Makeup Sex, the only full size item I received, it is a very vibrant hot pink color, no shimmer! You could use this as a blush with a VERY light hand, or use it on the eyes for more festive looks. Maybe for a party or Halloween? 🙂
