Hey girls! ❤ I wanted to quickly share some beauty things I have been eyeing. Some are skincare and perfumes, but nonetheless, I need these in my collection! The Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Perfume I have sampled before, and absolutely loved it. It is a deep, sensual floral/woodsy scent, and lingers on the skin. The primer looks gorgeous and the other items are just must trys in my opinion. Here are the goods: Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Shimmering Skin Perfector, YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer, Clinique Pop Lip Color + Primer, Viseart Eyeshadow Palette, Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil, Tom Ford Velvet Orchid Perfume, and the Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk. Have you guys tried any of these ?

YSL Rouge Volupte: My First Luxury Lipstick Story
Hey girls, this is a sentimental post for me, and of course it’s on lipstick. This lipstick in fact is the YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Shade 1 Nude Beige. This was the first high end lipstick I had ever bought almost 6 years ago! (whew!) At the time I was just finishing college so I was broke, dating, and getting by trying to find a job. The stock market had just crashed, so the job market was not great and I found myself by myself a lot. I decided to get out of the rut and found myself in the nearest department store and saw this gorgeous gold tube that was this lipstick. I had never seen a more beautiful tube, and my love of makeup was born. I almost fainted at the $35 price tag and felt guilty for a long time after purchasing it. I started using it and immediately felt the difference in quality and saw what the shade did for my face. The way I felt every time I pulled out that lipstick meant more to me than anything. I still have it to this day and cherish it because it brings back so many memories, and how beautiful/confident it made me feel. Nowadays I’m able to treat myself more and do things that I want to do. This little tube will forever be a reminder to me how such a small thing can change my world. X

My Current Face Favorites! ❤
Hello everyone! This post is a long time coming, but I wanted to do it now because I finally got a bunch of products that I really love using on my face! Over the seasons, items have changed, but these overall have been my go-to favorites for my everyday looks! These are my favorite foundations/BB Creams of the moment, the YSL Touch Eclat Illuminating Foundation, Skin79 The Oriental BB Cream and Shimmering BB Cream, Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation, and the Sephora Instant Radiance Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid. LOVE all of these, I prefer hydrating, light textured, dewy, medium coverage foundations for the skin. Makes me look healthy and natural!
This is the Clarins Poudre Multi-Eclat Mineral Loose Powder, which came out this year for Spring 2013, the packaging is so pretty, a bit bulky, but is so nice. The powder itself is micro fine, light textured, sheer, and so smooth. It give the skin a flawless slightly illuminated finish. It smells nice too!!
Next is the CoverFX MatteFX Powder, Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Corrector, Benefit Playstick, and ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer. I absolutely love these products, the Benefit Playstick is probably my all time favorite stick foundation/concealer. It’s so creamy and light, and the finish is amazing! The CoverFX MatteFX Powder I use everyday, it just set my makeup and keeps my makeup from sliding around during the day and gives a translucent effect. The Covergirl Corrector is a recent find but I’ve been suing it everyday, I LOVE the texture, my undereyes feel hydrated, and the coverage is good without being cakey. The ELF concealer I use on it’s own on days where I want to be natural. It has good coverage, feels nice and dewy, and is a great color match. Closest product that feels like a BB Cream without being one!
Next is the Sleek Blush by 3 in Lace, Mac Archie’s Girl Blush in Cream Soda, and Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Frivole. I absolutely love Sleek as a brand, too bad it’s only available in the UK! I’ve really been loving tangerine toned blushes applied with a light stippling brush, the color is co gorgeous with a light hand! The Mac blush in Cream Soda is a great everyday light peach blush, which just makes me skin look more alive. The Chanel blush was a splurge, but the quality of it and the color is SO gorgeous. highly recommend.
These are my go-to face powders and bronzers, the Revlon Photoready Bronzed and Chic Bronzer, Lancome Dual Finish Versatile Face Powder, and the Lola Pressed Powder in Wheat. All of these powders are matte, but not cakey. The texture is very light and smooth. Love the Revlon bronzer because of the different quadrants, and how pretty is the coral print? The Lancome Dual Finish Powder is just hands down one of the best face powders I’ve used, and the the Lola Pressed Powder I use as a natural contour, which I found for $1 on AllCosmeticsWholesale!
Next are mascaras, my newest fav is the Dior Diorshow Extase Mascara in Black, 17 Peep Show Mascara in Brown/Black, Loreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara, and the Nars Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara. All of these I really like. The Nars and Dior mascaras have to be at the top, the 17 Peepshow Mascara is great for everyday natural wear. The Loreal Mascara is a total DUPE for the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara. I love the formula for these, not too wet or dry, slightly creamy in a way, pigmented, stays on the lashes, and voluminous.
Lastly are my eyeliner and brow products! I have my Mememe Eye Spy Eyeliner Pencil that I use for my brows, the Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner Pen, Sleek Eau La Liner, Too Faced Perfect Eyes Eyeliner, my spooly wand, and the Loreal Extra Intense Liquid Eyeliner Pencil. The Maybelliner Master Precise Pen is amazing, it’s my go-to for any winged eyeliner look. It just makes my eyes look polished and defined. The Too Face eyeliner is so creamy and pigmented, amazing for lining the upper lash line and smudging out looks. The Sleek Eau La Liner is great all around, lasts, creamy, and is very pigmented. The Loreal Liner is pretty much a gel liner in a pencil form, SO creamy and very black. I use a angled brush to use this pencil!
Overall, I LOVE all these products, and I can see myself using them for the greater part of the year.
What do you guys think!? 🙂

Pretty Luxe Palettes!
Recently I’ve been seeing a trend in the high end cosmetic world where they are getting a little creative with their usual pressed palettes! Sometimes it’s just the packaging, or the color choice, but I’ve been really impressed when they pay close detail to the powder itself! Check out the ones I found above! I would love to own any of these palettes!! Wouldn’t you?! 🙂
