Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish in Wintermint & Autumn Spice
Hey everyone! I wanted to make this post about the Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polishes $5.99 in Wintermint & Autumn Spice. They released last last year around the holidays, but I had picked up these two beauties to test out! I was intrigued to see if the scented part of the nail polish acually worked, and it does! The Autumn Spice shade kind of smells like fall cinnamony potpourri, and Wintermint smells like a typical strong mint scent. The shades are very pretty. I am curious to try the other shades!

Sephora Formula X Nail Polish in Obsessed
Hellloooo! I really had to dedicate one whole post on this nail polish alone. It’s the Sephora Formula X Nail Polish in Obsessed $10.50, and I am obsessed with it. I had heard a lot of hype about these little beautes, and decided to try it out myself. I’ve tried a lot of nail polish in my day, so my expectation were high. I absolutely love the color of this, something I find I can wear year round and look chic. The formula and brush is really great. Applys very evenly, and dried shiny! I do find it lasts a bit longer with a good base coat though!

March Beauty Favorites 2014!
Another month has come and gone, and I have a round of monthly favorites! 🙂 Firstly, the Lorac Pro Palette made an appearance after a couple months in hiding. I’m really starting to appreciate the warm tones and matte shades in this palette. The Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer has been a solid staple on natural days, and the new Maybelline Color Tattoo Spring 2014 Dare to Go Nude Collection in Sleek & Spice is a must for any everyday eye look. I have also been wearing the Estee Lauder Day Wear as my everyday moisturizer, and the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb perfume to welcome in spring. The new Sephora Formula X Nail Polish in Obsessed is amazing, almost like a gel manicure in a bottle. The Bath & Body Works Candle in Electric Tokyo was part of their destination collection, and is a soft, sweet floral, cherry blossoms, with a burst of sake.
Julep Maven April Box USA 2014
Woo hoo! I got my April 2014 Julep Maven Box in the mail! This month’s theme was The Vivid Collection, with lots of brights for Spring & Summer and nice blush shades! I opted for the Classic With A Twist selection this month because it appealed to me the most.
- Caitlin – Shocking hibiscus with gold shimmer
- Mariska – Juicy tangerine shimmer
- Glow Blush – Peach Bellini (customizable)
The blush shade I got was in Peach Bellini which is a nice satin peachy pink, very smooth and pigmented!
March Glossybox 2014 USA! <3
Really like this month’s Glossybox, especially the full size Scent 7 Alex and Ani Energy Soap Bar $14, it literally makes my entire bathroom smell amazing, kind of like essential oils. It also came with a Swan Bracelet $28 from the same brand which was a nice touch. The Etre Elle Lip Lift Peel $18 was another great addition, full size! It has very tiny microbeads for exfoliation in a convenient squeeze lip tube and applicator. It also had a sample of a Bamboo Plumping Hair product which I love, a summery mini polish from Nails Inc., and a small Rose Face Cream Mask from Sisley. LOVE it! 🙂
February Julep Maven Box Review! 2014 Unboxing
Hey lovelies! I FINALLY got my Julep Subscription box for February 2014, I wanted to show you everything I got!
Julep October It Girl Box + Add On!
Soooooo I decided to resubscribe to Julep this month, annndd I’m kind of glad I did!!! I loved the galaxy mystery box they recently had, and am LOVING the October box! This month’s theme was The Rebel Set “A Collection to Light Up your Dark Side.”, and all the colors were really vampy and edgy, which is right up my ally! There was candy corn of course, which I think they had in last year’s October box, hopefully they are not left overs! XD
These are the 4 polishes I got, three of them were part of the It Girl selections, and I decided to get an Add On because the shade was absolutely gorgeous. I LOVE all of these!!! I’m a sucker for deep unique metallic duochromey shades. The one all the way on the right was the Add On, and I LOVE it.

Julep Summertime Mystery Big Box! July 2013
Hey everyone!!! I gave in this month and had to check out this Julep Summertime Big Mystery Box for this month! This was $40, but promised up $125-$300 worth of products! I used to be a maven, but canceled my subscription because my collection was getting crazy, but I love still getting these mystery boxes every once in a while for a nice surprise!
This is what my box looked like, from my invoice I got Mystery Box #5, I was super excited because I had seen some other people’s boxes and seemed like they got some really great stuff!
And, TA DA! My polishes!! I got a total of 7 AMAZING shades that I actually love, and a few other items. Two of the polishes were limited edition shades that came in every box, but the rest were up for grabs. Excited to through them!! 🙂
The first thing I saw was this eyelash curler, I had seem this appear in past month’s boxes but I guess this was a nice little bonus! It’s a bit different than your traditional curler, but we will see if this work well or not after some use.
The first set of polishes I got were the two limited edition shades and a pretty shimmery pink shade. The pink one reminded me of a Dior polish I have, and also another Zoya shade, but I love it none the less! The the glittery shades seem super sparkly and perfect for summer. Monica is a pretty glittery fushia-pink, and Kyla is a glittery orange-coral shade. Can’t wait to try it on my toes!

Next were these beauties!! LOVE these creme colors! All of which I would actually wear! Susie is a very pretty pale blueish-white shade, Myrtle is a nice classic red, Amy is a somewhat muted sea blue, and Anne is a bright grape purple. I really like the formula of these, they last pretty decently with a topcoat and base coat, and look amazing on the nails.

Another extra I got were these two foam nail separators, I have so many of these that I never use, I would have loved to get the Sea Salt Texture spray the mavens got in their boxes this month!
Last but not lease was this convertible brush duo! The quality is pretty good, and would be great to use for concealer, foundation, or random touch ups. Overall, Love it! Totally reconsidering becoming a subscriber again!!

June Special Edition American Beauty Glossybox 2013!
Woo hoo! My Glossybox is here! There was a lot of hype around this box, it is the special edition American Beauty box curated by Dallas Shaw. The Tarte Complexion Enhancing Lipstick was a promo for every box, and that was the reason I mainly wanted this thing!! The box this month was white with a very pretty illustrated girl!
Here is the magazine for this month, the contents were so-so, lots of photos of Dallas Shaw each shot themed around each fragrance from the Oscar de la Renta line that we got. I’m not really sure who she is, but with a little research from Google, she is a fashion illustrator and I’m guessing her work was featured on the cover of this months box!
What the inside of the box looks like, of course there is a card, nicely packaged with a ribbon and colorful paper shredding!
Here is the contents of my box, really excited primarily for the Tarte lipstick, the Sparitual nail polish, and very intrigued by the C.Booth product!
AND THE BOX!!! Everything was nicely packed together, so nothing was broken or leaking, yay! So happy with this box, totally worth the money this month!
The first thing I see is this little silk pouch with the Oscar de la Renta fragrance samples. “Inspired by the designer’s mastery of fashion, Oscar de la Renta introduces a tailored line of six unique scents imbued with his love of beauty and luxury. Comprised of specially sourced ingredients of the most exceptional quality, each fragrance echoes the close connections to Oscar’s vibrant life and loves, and perfectly speaks his language—find joy, be sparkling, feel gorgeous.”
There were 6 little mini spray samples for each fragrance, I quickly sniffed each one, and they smell very… old lady. lol There were a couple that were overwhelmingly floral, gardenia I think, a couple fresh smelling ones, and the rest were spicy and cloying. Not for me, but it was nice that they sent all size to try!
Next was this Philip B. Peppermint & Avacado Volumizing & Clarifying Shampoo. Pretty good size, smelled really nice and refreshing. I’ve seen a lot of this brands products floating around in various beauty boxes, I will give this a try when I am done with my other shampoo samples I’m trying, if anything I will give this to my husband to use!
This is the C.Booth Honey Almond Nourishing Dry Oil Mist, I was really intrigued to try this!! “Elegant, nourishing oils absorb quickly into skin to smooth and soften while providing hydration. This dramatically lightweight dry oil for face and body imparts a light, lasting glow for instant radiance. Infused with a gentle, sweet blend of honey and almond, it’s the ultimate aromatic indulgence for the skin and senses!” This is incredibly lightweight, smells AMAZING, and absorbs very quickly into the skin, not greasy at all, leaving is soft and nourished! HIGHLY recommend this!
Next was the Sparitual polish! I was happy to see this, but the color wasn’t really up my ally. 😦 It’s called Spirit Child, and is a shimmer polish. I ended up giving this to my mom since she really likes these tones of red. I really like Sparitual as a brand, would have loves this in another color!

Last not not least was the Tarte Complexion Enhancing Lipstick in Fair-Light! This thing retails for $30!!! “Get total lip therapy in a beautiful nude shade that‘s uniquely you! These creamy lipsticks have a glossy, tinted core that gives the appearance of fuller-looking, luscious lips. Thanks to complexion-enhancing pigments and emollient waxes, lips have never appeared more youthful.”
It is a really pretty lipstick duo, a creamy nude shell, and a pink core that mix together to give you the perfect shade! Really like the packaging very pretty, and the lipstick itself is awesome! Super hydrating, love the color, and the finish is creamy and amazing. Love it!!
