Too Faced Everything Nice Holiday 2014 Palette
Hey lovelies! ❤ I just got my Too Faced Everything Nice Palette in the mail today! I’m so happy about it since I missed out on the big holiday palette they did last year, and I have to say, this is a real bang for your buck. It comes with a sparkly pink makeup case, 1 mini Better Than Sex Mascara, 3 mini brushes, 20 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, 1 highlighter, and 1 bronzer. This is a mega palette, and if you are planning on traveling anywhere, this would be an end all be all palette to bring with a couple other items. The eyeshadows are pretty good, love the color selection, and of course the bronzer and blushes are gorgeous. You are getting the chocolate soleil bronzer in here so the entire palette smells like chocolate! The little brushes are a nice extra, they could come in handy if you are in a pinch, overall I really like this palette, love the packaging, and can’t wait to use it more! This would make a great gift for the holidays!
Available for $56 at Sephora.
Anastasia Tamanna Palette Review & Swatches!
Hey everyone! ❤ I finally wanted to show you a guys a new eyeshadow palette I have been seriously loving. It’s the Anastasia Tamanna palette $29. It’ s a great value and i love the packaging. Anastasia shadows have been getting a great rep lately due to some of their other palettes, this is in particular really stood out to me. ‘The perfect fall and holiday palette designed in collaboration with makeup artist Tamanna Roashan’ I loved the warmth of the shades and the variety of shimmer and mattes. I especially love the Bengal shade, and the black in the palette is very dark and opaque which I love using as a powder liner. It also comes with a pretty nice dual ended brush, and it’s actually usable! The swatches above are done without primer, so you can see that they’re very pigmented and smooth! Definitely worth checking out for the holidays.

Nars Loves Miami Eyeshaow Palette Review
Ok, this palette is gorgeous. I was able to find this on Ebay, where I like to shop around for all the older limited edition makeup items, and I was so pleased that I could pick this up! This collection was actually part of their Holiday 2013 Nars Loves Miami Collection, and originally came in a gift set. It has the Laguna bronzer and Orgasm blush which is awesome, and 4 shades of eyeshadow. I absolutely love the eyeshadow shades, really easy to wear, especially loving the bright purple, which I don;t really have in my collection. The look is amazing! Sorry I couldn’t post, I was having issues with the swatches. What do you guys think? ❤
Mac Divine Night Holiday Collection 2013
OMG I am excited about this collection!!!!! They are pre-ordering holiday sets and some items are now in stores! MAC Divine Night Holiday Collection

Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition Moroccan Dunes Eye Shadow Palette
Hello! Just wanted to share a little jewel I found at Target. This is the Sonia Kashuk Moroccan Dunes Eyeshadow Palette! This launched during the holidays last year, and I’ve been eyeing it for months before I saw it one sale for $11 the other week (originally $17), and had to snatch it up and give it a try! It’s supposed to be a Chanel dupe, so we’ll see! 🙂
The compact itself is nicely designed, very simple and somewhat compact. There is no label on the back, just sleek black plastic all around! It’s as big as my palm, so it’s not the smallest palette, but still it’s not too big where it’s bulky.
Here are the colors! “Gild your lids with luminous color using this quad of shimmer chrome-inspired eye shadows. This universally flattering palette includes precious metal hues of burnished brown, metallic mauve, prismatic pink, and rose gold to illuminate the eyes with sophisticated color and subtle sheen. The revolutionary hybrid formula combines the best features of baked, powder, cream, and liquid eye shadow textures to deliver long-lasting, buildable color that applies evenly and blends flawlessly.”
The eyeshadows are beautifully embossed with a reptile print and have a “dune” shape, and are incredibly shimmery/metallic except for the dark brown shade. The texture is a little dry, but they still perform beautifully. They are VERY pigmented and I was happily surprised! They can also be used wet for a more intense foiled look.
Swatches! : Light/cool toned silvery beige, a rose gold, shimmery taupe, and a matte chocolate brown with slight shimmer particles.
I give this 8/10.

Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition Formal Affair Palette Review!
Hey everyone! Exciting post for you today, I just wanted to let everyone know about this amazing limited edition palette I was able to purchase at Target!! It’s the Sonia Kashuk Formal Affair Palette, and it retails for $20!! Amazing deal and totally worth the price and more! 😀
“Brighten winter skin and create classic makeup looks for any occasion with this luxe compact. The golden bronzer flecked with subtle gold shimmer adds an instant glow, pairing perfectly with the matte pink blush for a rose rouge or the shimmery coral shade for a natural looking flush. Illuminate eyes with this quad of soft, blendable eye shadows in universally flattering metallics, including a pearly winter white, nude sparkle, shimmery chocolate brown and silver gunmetal gray shades. The conveniently slim and stylish black tweed case also includes a full size mirror – perfect for touch up’s between holiday shopping and soirees.”
It is overall a face palette, coming with two blushes, one bronzer, and 4 eyeshadows. The quality of the palette is amazing, it reminds me of Asian eyeshadows or Dior eyeshadows. Very fine and smooth texture, and shimmery.
The palette itself looks like a clutch!! It’s very sturdy, mostly made of metal, and has a really nice black fabric outside. It looks like a formal festive sweater! This palette is perfect for the holidays, and the upcoming New Year’s Eve!
It’s also very thing and travel friendly, it’s a bit weighty, but I like that. Perfect to put into your purse on your night out, or if you are traveling somewhere and in need of a quick spruce.
This palette is GORGEOUS. It has a huge mirror on top which is really nice and handy, and the three face powders are up top, and the eyeshadows on the bottom.
The colors overall I would say gear a bit warm, perfect for light/medium skin tones, but could also work for deeper skin tones. The bronzer I felt was more of a bronze tinted highlighter, so I think it could be used as one. Most the eyeshadows are extremely glittery, you need to use some sort of base! But overall, very buttery, smooth, and pigmented.
The effects of these eyeshadows are perfect for a party or night out if you want to achieve a more natural/formal/party look. I’d say the white and dark brown eyeshadows are satin finish, and the lighter brown and black are glitter based.
Here are the swatches! GORGEOUS.
The eyeshadows are SO pretty. The pigmentation is amazing, Sonia Kashuk always delivers on quality for the price. These feel like high end eyeshadows and perform as such. Again, this is a shimmery/glittery palette, so if you’re not into that you might not enjoy it as much! 🙂
Here are the blushes and bronzer/highlighter! The blushes are variations of light/med pinks. Very flattering on the cheeks! And again the shimmery bronzer shade could be used as a highlighter to deeper skin tones!
Overall, LOVE this palette, totally recommend!

December Starlooks Starbox 2012!
Hello everyone! Super fun post for you today, I recently got my December Starlooks Starbox!! It’s a monthly subscription for $15, and it’s all makeup! The brand was created based on MAC product, so the quality is really great for the price. This month was special because they told us we were all getting a 15 color eyeshadow palette worth $99!! Couldn’t wait to see what I got! 😀
First thing I saw was this card, it was really pretty and part of the lookbook that they release every month as inspiration with hidden sneek peaks. There was also tons of these iridescent glitter shreds everywhere and it looks like tinsel and snow! Loved it!!
The back of the card just explains what we are getting, and some of the color pairs we can try on our eyes. I’m seeing some bright color combos, so I’m guessing the palette is going to be pretty fun!
Here’s another little card talking about their lookbook, they also have a Facebook page that you can follow!
And here’s the palette!!! The packaging looks pretty nice, nothing crazy just a nice sleek black snakeskin textured box. The colors looks really nice and bright! It’s going to be a challenge trying to make these wearable!! I would have preferred a nice smokey palette or neutral palette with some color, but this is a good surprise.
Here’s the back of the palette, it just says what it is and a list of ingredients. Also the palette number i07A. I’m not sure if people got different palettes or not but it would be fun if we did!! You can also purchase this palette on their website, but it’s $99!!
This palette is really nice, they have the large Starlooks logo on the front, it’s simple and not too large. It’s perfect to play around with and I love how big the eyeshadow pans are!
There is a mix of bright mattes, and shimmery shades. I don’t see names of the colors anywhere but some of them did stand out to me!! The textures of these shadows are nice, they are pretty good quality for the price, I wouldn’t say it’s better than MAC, but some are definitely lacking than others in terms of color pay off, especially the mattes!
Here is another close up of the palette, the colors are really pretty, and I like that there are some colors that I wouldn’t normally purchase or try. I can’t wait to create some vibrant looks! I think I would mostly use this as a highlight color under the lower lash line, or blended with some more neutral colors.
Swatches: Starlooks i07A Palette!
Overall, I liked the palette, I thought it was a really fun addition. I wish the colors were a little more wearable, but I can’t wait to try some other products from them! 🙂
