Hey everyone! I’m back with a new product from Tarte that is absolutely gorgeous! It’s the Tarte Aqualillies Amazonian Clay Waterproof Eye and Cheek Palette. It retails for $38 at Sephora, which I got for $33 with my VIB discount count which is valid until tomorrow for those of you who have it! I was immediately drawn to this palette, it looked so pretty and I loved the colors, and the summery feel!
Here’s the back of the palette, it just lists all the products that you get with the palette and a quick description of the vision behind this collection. The Aqualillies are a group of synchronized swimmers that this collection was based on! Watch the video to check them out!
The palette itself it so pretty, I love the mermaid/fish scale pattern on the front, and love the coral, gold, and mint theme. It’s so summery and fun!
The palette feels durable, made of plastic, and it pretty large in size! I like that it’s a round shape, which is a little different than the ones I’ve seen before.
Here’s the inside of the and the names of each color! There are 6 eyeshadows, 2 matte shades, a limited edition blush, a matte bronzer, and a shimmer highlight, all of which are waterproof!
I LOVE this palette, one for the quality of the products, the pigmentation, the amazing smooth texture, and they’re waterproof!!! I’ve never had a waterproof powder product so I’m excited to try and see how it hold up in the summer months, especially after the heat, and swimming in water. The limited edition blush shade is gorgeous and is exclusive to this palette. The bronzer I have in the full-size (Park Ave. Princess) and is an amazing matte bronzer.
Here are the swatches of the eyeshdows, highlighter, and bronzer. The eyeshadows are very pigmented, smooth, and very blendable with great staying power, especially the darker shades.
Here is the swatch of the blush in Captivating! It’s completely matte, has good staying power and a lovely corally peach color. Perfect for summer, and would look on a lot of skin tones, love!
Will you guys be trying this palette?? 🙂
