Starlooks Starbox March 2013

Hoooray! My Starbox has arrived! Starbox has quickly climbed to become on of my favorite subscription boxes, it’s $15/month, and comes with full size makeup products!! There is a theme each month, and is now a mix of neutral products, and bright products. Totally worth the value, and the quality is great!

March’s theme was “Blue”, I really loved the look of the theme. Each month they release a lookbook with hints to what the products are going to be! Love the classic mixed with fun, and the rustic feel of everything. Love the horses in the photshoot!

This is what I got in my Starbox, I’m pretty sure everyone got the same thing this month. Again 3 items are full size along with a little pot of lip scrub, can’t wait to get into it!! 🙂

Here are all the products!! Starlooks is a rather new line, but I heard the chemists that have worked on MAC products have worked on these products as well. Not sure if I would say it’s an exact dupe, but the quality is pretty good!

The first item is this Starlooks Lengthening Mascara in Black. This is a hefty mascara, it’s heavy and the tube is made of metal, the brush is a fiber brush with an angled wand. The brush itself is pretty big and dense so it gives your lashes a great feathery look. The formula dries quickly on the lashes and stays on. No flaking or clumping! Pretty good!

This is the Starlooks Moisture Rich Lipstick in Flutter. It’s a bright coppery orange frost lipstick. Not what I would normally grab for, buy perhaps could work if mixed with something else. I will give this a shot, but will most likely be giving it away to someone who would wear the color. The formula is really great, and it’s very pigmented. Don’t really like the tiny shimmers in it though!

Next is the Starlooks Eyeshadow in Dissaray. It’s a very pretty satin navy blue shade with slight shimmer. The packaging again is hefty and feels nice and weighty. The texture reminds me of MAC eyeshadows. This one at first swatch seems to go on a bit sheer but can be quickly built up. This would looks gorgeous smoked out on layered on top of a darker color. Love it!! 🙂

Last was the little pot of lip scrub in Vanilla. It smells AMAZING, and upon first use, it tastes sweet like candy! I would totally just eat this if it wasn’t a beauty product. It’s great to getting all the dead skin off your lips in time for Spring!

What do you guys think!? 🙂
