Hard Candy Kal-eye-descope Baked Eyeshadow Duos

These are the Hard Candy Kal-eye-descope Baked Eyeshadow Duos sold exclusively at Walmart for about $6 each. I really initially liked the idea of the eyeshadows as they come with two complimentary colors and are baked mineral eyeshadows. Hard Candy used to be sold at Sephora, but now they are only sold at Walmart stores. These eyesahdows come in pretty shades and fun/young packaging.

These are the three colors I have, Make Believe, Pick Up Line, and Love Bug. Hard Candy does not test on animals, which I like!

The packaging is pretty cute, it kind of reminds me of tattoos or graffiti, but really I love the colors that are inside. The height of the eyeshadow is a bit tall, so it can feel a little bulky if you’re trying to fit it into a makeup bag.

L to R: Make Believe, Pick Up Line, and Love Bug

These eyeshadows are really interesting, as they can be used wet or dry depending on your preference. They have a strange protective film on the product when new, so you have to initially get through that barrier to get any pigment at all!! I think it’s to keep the product together, but once that’s gone it goes on smooth and nice. The feeling isn’t creamy but a pit powdery at times if you’re using a brush. I prefer doing a nice sweep across the eye, but you need a base or apply it wet for it to stay on the lids. The color payoff is good, and for what it is, it’s a nice little eyeshadow!
