Hey everyone! <3 I’ve been in the drugstore hunting for new fall finds, and I stumbled across these little shadows! These are the Covergirl FLamed Out Eyeshadow Pots in Scorching Cocoa and Melted Caramel, and have been out for a but I think. I finally caved and decided to give them a go after passing them a few times. Covergirl has been one of those brands I don’t gravitate towards much, I prefer L’Oreal and Revlon for sure, but these spoke to me. They were just under $5 each, and came in 12 different shades. I was a little worried about quality but for the price these performed pretty well. These are great for on the go and travel for a mono look! Have you tried these?
Hey guys! <3 I just heard about the Lorac Mega Palette, coming soon from Lorac’s Holiday Collection sometime in November! I spotted this on KathleenLight‘s Instagram, this looks absolutely fab! <3 Can’t wait see it in stores!
We’ve all heard the things that our boyfriends secretly hate on us, but we love: Peplums, harem pants, Jeffrey Campbell, and anything neon. Of course worn in the right way, any piece of clothing or accessory can be flattering. Here’s a list of fashion trends with boy approval!
“At least they show a girl has a sense of humor (and confidence—because objectively they’re not remotely attractive, so it takes balls to wear one).” – Charlie, Creative Executive
High-Waisted Skinny Jeans
“They accentuate the figure and make your booty look awesome. They’re tight which is nice, and still jeans, so that’s normal.”- Tom, Grad Student
“I find them to be sexy because they give off a very casual and approachable vibe.” – Joe, Sales Manager
“My girlfriend recently bought one and it looks retro cool. I’m a fan.” – Brennan, Bartender
Fitted Leather Jacket
“I like women to have a bit of a tough look that says they can handle themselves. It gives girls a sexy attitude.”
“Boot can accentuate a women’s legs, which is a good thing. Super sexy.”
Men’s Button Downs
“Since they aren’t meant for breasts you can sometimes catch tantalizing glimpses of skin in the spaces between the buttons.” –Eli, Writer/Producer
Hi everyone! <3 I wanted to share some new lippies I picked up yesterday! They are the Flower Kiss Stick High-Shine Lipstick luxury Lipsticks. I am a HUGE fan of these lipsticks. Love the formula, packaging, price and scent. For drugstore, these are great quality and look really nice on my vanity. :) These are really hydrating and glossy on the lips with intense pigment. The scent is slightly floral but nothing over powering, and I love how creamy and smooth they apply. The line was originally created by Drew Barrymore and what’s unique about the brand is that it is cruelty free, made in the USA, and formulated with high end ingredients. They are able to offer such great products for a low price because they take pride in not doing any paid advertising. I got: Apricot Blossom, Baby Buttercup and Berry Bloom.
Hi all! <3 Fall is all about effortless luxe. I’m loving the thick, groomed brows and the brown, gilded smokey eyes. A soft, satiny lit from within face with a nude or dark berry lip. Love it! For hair, sleek and primped and a loose effortless up do is a must! Love the look on Cara Delevigne. Which trends will you be sporting this season? :)
Hello gals! <3 I wanted to share a new nail polish I discovered in the beauty isle, it is the Covergirl XL Gel Nail Polish in Rotund Raspberry. It was only a few bucks, and what stood out to be immediately was the bottle. It’s huge! The next thin I noticed that it was a gel formula. It doesn’t require a UV lamp or curing, but it’s supposed to have the long lasting and chip free formula that gel polishes have! The color is gorgeous, perfect for fall. The formula is super thick but super opaque. You’ll only need one coat of this to get great coverage and shine. I would still apply and base and top coat jsut in case, but this is supposed to last for 7 days which is amazing! It did take a little bit longer to dry, but the finished product was amazing! Highly recommend!
Hello all! <3 I finally got my hands on the Coastal Scents Fall Festival Eyeshadow Palette. I can get it off their website but I happened to find mine on Ebay. I’ve been eyeing this palette for over a year and finally decided to bite the bullet. I’m so glad I did! The palette comes with a matte black magnetic 15 well palette with a large mirror and 15x hot pots. They are mostly shimmer but there are two matte shades (nude and black). The eyeshadows are super buttery and great quality for the price. I love the warm tones and I can see myself reaching for this a lot! My favorite go to shades in this palette are Chamois Nude and Cherry Chocolate. The shades: ROW 1: Chamois Nude, Bright Copper, Dark Golden Olive, Light Apricot ROW 2: Kiwi Green, Deep Cantaloupe, Regalia Purple, American Rose ROW 3: Cherry Chocolate, Raisin Berry, New Penny, Gunmetal.
Woo hoo! Thank to Wandering Sillouette for the nomination for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award! :D Here are the questions she chose:
1.) What is your favorite makeup brand? Hm, this is hard!!!! I have to say Clarins or Nars.
2.) Which do you prefer for your makeup purchases: makeup stores or drugstores? I love makeup shipping at the drugstore, but I usually purchase more at a makeup store like Sephora for some reason!
3.) What is the makeup store/drugstore do you visit and buy from the most? I really like Sephora and Discount Drug Mart!
4.) What is the best makeup brand out there (your opinion)? This is a hard one too because there are so many great brands, but off the top of my head: Nars. I absolutely love ALL their products!
5.) At what age did you start or realize your love for makeup? I started using makeup in middle school because didn’t have the obsession with it like I do now. lol I blame YouTube and beauty bloggers! XD
6.) Which do you prefer: pencil, gel or liquid eyeliner? I really like a good pencil liner. Something like the L’oreal Infallible Silkissime eyeliner that is creamy, super pigmented, and long wearing. I like smudging it out and applying it on my water line. I do like a great felt tip liner though too for a winged eyeliner look!
7.) In a week, how often do you apply makeup? Everyday. At the very least I do my brows and eyeliner.
8.) This year, how often have you tried going out with no makeup on? Like I said, I usually always have at least my brows and eyeliner on so I look alive.
9.) Lipstick or Lip stain? Lipstick! <3
10.) Who are the top 5 youtube beauty gurus in your opinion? Oh man. I would have to say Viviana Does Makeup, Amelia Liana, Shaaanxo, Julia Graf, and Beautycrush!
I nominate: All of you!! :D
Answer the questions above and tag me in your post! Love to read your answers!
Hi everyone! <3 So sorry for the late post, I wanted to quickly share my August 2014 Petit Vour box! I’ve really been enjoying this box, and teh nice variety of cruelty free/organic/natural products that I receive each month. I really liked the samples this month, minus the Harvey Prince perfume vial. The mask was a really nice size and cute jar, and the tangerine lip butter was amazing! I use it every morning before I apply makeup. The pencil was full size ($18.50) and really nice, but a little hard in texture for my liking, although long wearing. I highly recommend you check this sub out if you are interested in natural beauty products! The goodies: BWC Natural Eye Pencil, Earthbody Brighten Cleanser Mask, Harvey Prince Journey Perfume, Mi-Me Hydrating Tangerine Lip Butter, and Rosemira Organic Sweet Coconut Body Butter.
Hey everybody! I wanted to share my favorite lip balm essentials, something I use every time I apply makeup. The Clarins Instant Light Perfector is a cult favorite, I really like this product. I love the packaging with the squeezy tube and gold cap. The scent is really pleasant, a light sweet scent. It applies sheer, but can we worn as a gloss as well. The Albeit Nourishing balm from Anthropologie has a nice rose scent and is very moisturizing. It’s slightly tacky but last a bit longer than the Clarins balm. Love the little glass jar and love the ingredients: jojoba seed oil, soybean oil, coconut oil, linalool, citronellol, and aloe. The lip perfector has: shea butter, wild mango, olive tree, rice, licorice and plant perhydrosqualene repair and soften. The items: Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector and Albeit Nourishing Lip Balm.
