Hey guys! <3 I wanted to let you guys know about the “The Looks Collection” by One Direction! The tins are inspired by One Direction’s globe-conquering albums, “Up All Night, “Take Me Home” and the latest ‘Midnight Memories”, I received the Take Me Home set! The set includes an a collectable tin, an eyeshadow palette, UV Glow lip gloss, lipstick, mascara, nail polish, eye crayon and 5 piece stencil set! The set is created by Markwins, the same company that makes Wet N’ Wild, so the quality is really great for the price. The eyeshadows are super buttery and pigmented with a metallic/glitter cream shadow in the center of the palette. The brown eye crayon is matte, and great to use as a base since it’s so smudgey. The lipstick is a pretty pink color and applies sheet but buildable, and the gloss is a really pretty glittery orange shade that isn’t sticky at all. The nail polish is a gorgeous glitter called “Live While We’re Young.” The mascara is really great too! These sets just launched and will be released on the dates below!

Hi everyone! <3 Exciting post for you today, I finally got to try a Lip Factory box! I only ordered one then canceled just to test it out. I knew the box had lots of lip products, but from this box, there was a pretty good mix of makeup. I would say all these products are drugstore to mid range, but they are all full size and the retail value of this box was almost $60, and I only paid $22! Overall, I like the products except for the Lip “lacquer” which seemed more like a glittery gloss to me. I’m really excited about the eye primer! I’ve heard of the brand but never got to try anything! The goods: LA Splash Mineral Blush, LA Splash Lip Lacquer, Medusa’s Makeup Make It Stick Eye Primer, Cult Nail Lacquer, Powder Pink Parlor Lipstick, Red Cherry Lashes.
Hi everyone! <3 Lately I’ve been finding some great drugstore alternatives to great high ends finds. Dupes are so nice, because most of the time, they perform just as well as the high end products. I seriously love all the products, the only one I might reach for the high end alternative is the Dior Addict Lip Glow, but for the $33 price tag, I’m swayed. The Armani Eyes to Kill and the Loreal Infalliable shadow are almost identical, and the two foundation are very comparable. I personally own both and am enjoying them a lot. My drugstore fav: Bourjois Cream Blush, Prestige High Intensity Mascara, Sephora Color Reveal Balm, Loreal Infalliable Eyeshadow, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation. Would you guys save or splurge?
Hi everyone! <3 I wanted to share my top Essie Nail Picks for this summer! I really like Essie Nail Polishes, they are super cute, and have tons of colors. They are always releasing new collections for each season and I absolutely love the names. All of these were released this year except for the glitter shade which came out last Christmas. I found that it was perfect for an accent nail. :) Anyway, here are the colors!: Parka Perfect, Naughty Nautical, Resort Fling, and Hors D’eauves.
Hi everyone! I heard that Sample Society had re-vamped their box recently and decided to give them another shot. In the past, the samples were too small, mostly skin and hair care, and obscure brands. This box is definitely an upgrade! It’s a nice, sturdier box overall, and the products I got were all really great. I’ve gotten the Jane Iredale Mascara sample before, but didn’t mind. I was super excited about the Oribe Tousled Texture Mousee, the Too Face Melted Lip Cream, and the Ciate polish! <3

Hello everyone! <3 I wanted to share my current high end lipstick storage! I bought this little clear acrylic lipstick organizer from the Container Store, they also have one that holds a little more, I believe mine was only a few bucks! I really like the clear containers because it gives such a clean feel, while being able to see all the pretty packaging! I also highly recommend the Muji Clear Acrylic Organizers, if you wanted to hold more stuff. I love displaying my makeup collection so I can see everything I’ve got, it also helps me use and rotate through everything! I also really like being able to move the tray around, and puzzle together different configurations in my bathroom vanity. I love finding new ways to organize, what are you favs?
Ok, this thing is seriously awesome, this is the Too Faced Brow Envy Kit, they’ve repackaged it recently, but this set is amazing. It comes with 2 brow shades, 1 wax, 1 cream highlight, 3 stencils, tweezers, a mini brush and spooli and 1 pencil. I love how compact this is, and I get use out of everything, even the stencils! I was actually really surprised, the ‘Girl Next Door’ stencil was perfect for my everyday brow shape. It really makes it easy and you have everything you need to groom and set your brows. The 2 eyebrow shades are really great for my hair color, I mix the two together to get the perfect shade, it is really smooth and goes on nicely. The wax seals the brows and keeps them tamed. Highly recommend for your makeup arsenal!

Hi everyone! <3 I just re-did/oragnized my vanity area! I’m really happy with it, I usually kept all my makeup in my bathroom, but I decided to create a proper vanity area with my most used/everyday items. The table I was using for storage in the living room, but I felt I could use it a bit better here! I literally didn’t have to buy a thing, I just had to get creative with what I had which is great. The large clear acrylic trays are from the container store, I painted the front of them white so it’s looks a little more seamless. I have a couple candles from Bath & Body Works, and a limited edition brush holder and brush set from Sonia Kashuk, and my Coastal Scents brushes! The jewelry holder I got from TJ Maxx a while ago which I like for just decoration, and the other clear acrylic storage items I found there as well. Overall, I really love how it turned out!
Hello everyone! <3 I wanted to do a quick review of the Nars Loves Los Angeles Set that came out last holiday season. I found this on Ebay for $32 (retail $75) and I was immediately drawn to the palette. I loved that you get 4 eyeshadows, a bronzer (Laguna) and blush (Deep Throat), and a couple extra goodies! I saw a little scared to use the blue shade, but it is actually very pretty blended out or used as an accent color on the eye. The lip gloss is Nars Turkish Delight which I was also really excited to try. I really like the quality of this set, the only shades I was concerned with was the light glittery shade and the blue shade. There was some crumbling with the glittery shade, but that was expected since it had so much glitter in it, it was best used with the flat brush patted over your eye, and the blue wasn’t as richly pigmented based on the swatch. However, this make it much more wearable and easily layerable over other shades. It also worked was as a liner! Great little set!
Ok! I’m super excited about this post, I finally got my Coastal Scents brushes in the mail and I am super happy! They were having a brush sale and I jumped on the band wagon after debating whether or not to try them for a year! I got mostly face brushes this time, and I was really pleased with the quality. The handles are nice and weighty, and the ferrule is a shiny silver metal. The bristles are super soft, dense, and they work really well! I’m really impressed with these brushes, and they have replaced my other brushes quickly! The brushes: Classic Buffer Small Synthetic, Classic Round Duo Fiber Synthetic, Classic Angled Kabuki Stick Synthetic, Classic Buffer Large Synthetic, Bionic Flat Top Buffer, Classic Blush Angle Large Synthetic, and the Classic Large Tapered Powder Synthetic.
